When we first arrived, this garden had clearly been neglected for a while.
The lawn was patchy and uneven, borders were completely overgrown, and shrubs had taken over the pathways.
It felt cluttered and hard to use, even though the space itself had great potential.
The customer wanted a garden that felt calm, tidy, and easy to maintain, without losing its natural feel. They wanted space to sit out in summer and still have room for wildlife.
We started with a full clear-up, cutting back overgrown shrubs, removing weeds, and reshaping the borders. The lawn was scarified, levelled, and re-seeded to encourage healthy regrowth. Borders were redefined and replanted with a mix of low-maintenance plants and wildlife-friendly flowers, keeping things looking natural but well cared for.
The garden now feels open, usable, and welcoming, a space that’s easy to enjoy without constant upkeep.
