Meet the Anlaby Garden guy...

I’ve always believed that a garden should be more than just something nice to look at, it should be a living, breathing space that gives back. Gardening isn’t just my job, it’s what genuinely makes me happy.

I love growing plants and food, there’s something deeply satisfying about turning a patch of soil into something productive, beautiful, and full of life. Whether it’s vegetables for the kitchen, fruit for the summer, or flowers that bring colour and movement, I get real joy from helping gardens thrive.

Wildlife is a huge part of what I do. I’m passionate about creating safe, welcoming spaces for hedgehogs, allowing natural fox access and exit routes, and encouraging birds, bees, and other pollinators with wildflowers and thoughtful planting. From natural-looking wildlife areas to ponds that blend into their surroundings, I aim to create gardens that feel alive, balanced, and connected to nature.

That said, I also love a big transformation. There’s nothing better than taking an overgrown or tired space and turning it into something that looks professional, polished, and well cared for. Clean lines, healthy lawns, smart borders, and tidy finishes are just as important to me as wild corners and natural planting.

My approach is always practical, honest, and tailored to each garden and the people who use it. Whether you want a productive food-growing space, a wildlife-friendly haven, a smart and tidy garden, or a mix of everything, I take pride in creating spaces that feel right for you.

At the end of the day, I just really love gardens, and I’m lucky enough to help other people enjoy theirs too.
